Oxford on the move – relocation completed

On the weekend of November 14th Oxford University Press successfully relocated their Canadian head office and distribution centre into new, modern premises.

After occupying their current site for almost 50 years, the head office was relocated to new, state of the art offices at The Shops at Don Mills. The office relocation has been welcomed by OUP staff as considerable effort has been given to creating a work environment maximizing the use of modern communication technologies as well as incorporating up-to-date ergonomic and design principles.

The new distribution centre in Brampton boasts a cutting edge logistics facility and is much closer to Toronto’s Lester B. Pearson airport. In addition, the design of the new facility—far more efficient than the previous Don Mills site—will simplify stock receiving, putaway, and shipping and reduce demands on workers.
