Reviews

  • "The book is clearly written and organized, the chapters are a good length, and the level is appropriate for undergraduates. The book has a clear focus and chapters consistently adhere to the central questions posed in the introduction... It is the leading textbook in its field and the subject matter is constantly changing."
    --David Blair, Huron University College

  • "This is unique in its focus on environmental policy, ranging from Canada's history of conservation to the modern environmental movement. I appreciated the inclusion of an analysis of Green party voting etc., and looking at how different political parties consider environmental issues."
    --Melissa Marschke, University of Ottawa

  • "Wide institutional coverage; inclusion of electoral and movement politics; multi-level coverage; anthology style; length of articles consistent with supplementation with course-pack; interesting combination of theoretical issues and cases."
    --James Lawson, University of Victoria
