John G. Benjafield is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Brock University. He is the author of the forthcoming A History of Psychology, third edition. Dan Smilek is Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Waterloo. Dan currently teaches the cognitive processes course and is actively involved in new cognitive research (including perception, language, and memory). Dan has previously written for Oxford UK, having contributed a chapter to the Oxford Companion to Consciousness. Alan Kingstone is a Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of British Columbia. Highly active in the field of cognitive psychology, Alan is Editor of the annual review journal The Year in Cognitive Neuroscience and Associate Editor of Visual Cognition and the British Journal of Psychology. He is also co-editor of the recent Handbook of Functional Neuroimaging of Cognition (MIT Press).
